The Montreal art scene will be kicking it oldschool starting this Saturday, with the opening of the “Once upon a time… Impressionism” exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts. The good people at the Sterling & Francine Clark Institute in Williamstown, MA, have seen it fit to send some artistic love our way, and have loaned a substantially varied Impressionist selection to their northernly neighbours (as a side note – what the hell is this Williamstown ish, and how do they blow Montreal out of the water when it comes to Impressionist paintings?). Getcho fix of Degas, Monet, Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec, and the rest of the boys. Details for the exhibit at the MFA website.
